“Partners For Community Peace”
Award
Would YOUR community/district like to recognize a
“Partner For Community Peace”?
Your community has the opportunity to select a citizen
(youth or adult)
or group of individuals to receive this award.
The recipient(s) must meet the majority of the following
criteria:
a)
mediator
b)
facilitates co-workers inter-action
c) good
neighbour
d)
helpful/friendly/peaceful in the community
e)
good
Samaritan
f) helping hand
g)
neighbour to neighbour good will
h)
kindness, caring and respectful
The recipient does not necessarily have to be constantly
involved in volunteer activities, or not necessarily excel in academics or
sports. The “Partner For Community Peace” Award is meant to recognize an
individual or group of individuals who promote peace in simple ways from
day to day within their community.
Partners For Rural Family Support will provide this award.
If your community decides to recognize a “Partner For Community Peace”,
your community must select one recipient and arrange to have the award
presented at a local community event. This award will be presented by a
representative of our organization at the chosen event in your community.
This award is limited to one award per community or
district per year.
We will be advertising throughout the region that this
opportunity has been made available to your community and that the
information has been sent to your office.
Please see the attached Award Recipient form. All recipient
forms will be acknowledged and Partners will contact you to confirm the
award availability in your area based on the number of responses received.

our District
