Partners for Rural Family Support is a non-profit Drop-In Family Support center located in Humboldt Saskatchewan that.... 

Provides support to an area within a 100 km radius of Humboldt. Service Area;

 Is committed to promoting safe and healthy individuals, families and communities;  

Has a friendly drop-in atmosphere for children, youth, adults, families or parents.  

We also offer supportive listening, resource material, educational programs/workshops, support groups and referrals

directed at a wide variety of family and relationship issues. 

Drop by any time:   Monday to Thursday 10–12 and 1–4 p.m., 

          Fridays - Closed

at 636 9th Street (across from the clinic). 

No appointment necessary!

 


Our Goals:

  • To build partnerships with various agencies and community stake holders to address the issues of interpersonal violence

  • To bring a coordinated, community response focusing on prevention of interpersonal violence

  • To support and maintain the safety and security of families in rural Saskatchewan

  • To educate the community to the dynamics and social costs of interpersonal violence

  • To offer safe and appropriate educational and informational groups to rural communities

  • To ensure people are treated respectfully and equally 

    • Children thrive in communities that meet their needs of security, love and respect

    • Preventing risk now is far more effective and economical to society than ignoring the issue or creating short-term Band Aid solutions

    • Families will be safe and secure if they are cared about, respected, valued, connected and supported

    We can all live in a safe and healthy community where individuals and families are safe from violence and abuse.

    Our Mission:

    Partners for Rural Family Support promotes healthy individuals, families and communities through education, support and referral.

     

    Partners for Rural Family Support is a drop-in support centre that offers services such as:

    Confidentiality

    Partners offers services ranging from parenting classes to support services for survivors of family violence.

    Abuse includes physical abuse, verbal abuse, financial abuse, spiritual abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

    Violence can take many forms starting with harsh words and ending in murder.

    Abuse affects all kinds of women, men, seniors, youth and children, including individuals that are disabled, pregnant, rich and poor.

    Abuse is found in all people of all races, religions and education levels.
